I am a medical doctor focused on integrative, regenerative and longevity medicine. My work moves between the consulting room, the congress stage and the formulas I develop with BianVie.
I trained as a medical doctor and chose, early on, to work where conventional and natural medicine meet. Since 1989 that has been my daily practice, and over the years it grew into a focus on integrative, regenerative and longevity medicine.
The patients who shaped me most were those whose results looked normal on paper and who still did not feel well. They taught me that a symptom is a message, and that good medicine reads the whole letter.
Over the years my work grew beyond the consulting room. I teach at seminars and congresses, I follow the research on healthy ageing and nutrient status, and I develop formulas and skincare for the people I care for.
Today my work is shared between Dublin, the Algarve and Köln, in English, Portuguese and German.

Integrative medicine
I combine the tools of conventional medicine, from a careful examination to laboratory diagnostics, with natural and complementary approaches supported by experience and evidence. Neither replaces the other. Together they let me see the whole person.
Regenerative medicine
The body has a remarkable ability to repair itself when it receives what it needs. Much of my work is about creating those conditions: calming inflammation, restoring nutrient status and supporting the cells and tissues that keep us well.
Longevity medicine
I care about how my patients feel today and about how they will feel in twenty years. Prevention that is measured and followed over time is the most powerful medicine I know.

I look for what sits behind a complaint, so that treatment addresses the reason and not only the signal.
