Bian Vie Limited, 3 Raglan Lane, Ballsbridge, Dublin D04 W3K0, Ireland. Email: bianka@drbianka.com.
What we process and why
- Visiting the website. When you load a page, your browser sends technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request. This is needed to deliver the website and keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest).
- Contact and speaking requests. When you use a form on this website or write to us, the information you enter (name, email address, message and the details of your request) is sent to us by email and stored in our website system so that we can reply (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, pre-contractual steps, or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Consultations. If you book a consultation, health information you share is special-category data. We process it only to provide medical care and under professional confidentiality (Art. 9(2)(h) GDPR).
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, we use your email address to send the newsletter, based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time through the link in every email. [Newsletter provider to be named at launch]
Third-party services
- Fonts. This website uses fonts from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited). Your browser connects to Google servers to load them, which transmits your IP address. [Recommended before launch: host fonts locally so that no connection to Google is made.]
- Scripts. Animation libraries are loaded from cdnjs (Cloudflare) and jsDelivr. These providers receive your IP address when the files are requested.
- Hosting. [Hosting provider to be named at launch]
How long we keep data
Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to answer your request and to meet legal retention duties. Medical records are kept for the period required by law. Newsletter data is deleted when you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Write to bianka@drbianka.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Our lead authority is the Data Protection Commission, 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28, Ireland (dataprotection.ie).
Transfers outside the EU
Where a service provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on an adequacy decision or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Cookies and storage
This website does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Our website platform (WordPress) may set technically necessary cookies, for example to protect forms against spam.
It uses your browser's storage for two small conveniences, which stay on your device and are never sent to us:
- drb-lang (local storage): remembers the language you chose.
- drb-intro and drb-nav (session storage): play the opening animation once per visit and the transition between pages. They are deleted when you close the browser.
You can clear this storage at any time in your browser settings. If analytics or other tools are added in the future, this page will be updated and your consent will be asked first.
Terms of use
By using this website you accept these terms.

Liability
We take care to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that it is complete or free of errors. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
